I’m Flora, I’ve lived in Seattle since 1989. I have worked with numerous communities throughout Washington for over 20 years including Spanish-speaking/Latino, East African, African-American, East-Asian communities and immigrant families, homeless individuals, farmworkers, disabled children and adults, tenants and renters, educators, business owners, politicians and many more. I have a passion for organizing and standing up for what is just. I continue to work with community members currently as a Parent Ambassador and Guiding Good Choices facilitator for Neighborhood House working in drugs, alcohol, and suicide prevention work for young adults. I have 4 children, a granddaughter, and a Frenchie named Rainier.
