Board Members

CHAMPS RSC Board and Committee need help to shape the change you want to see in the neighborhood. CHAMPS RSC has successfully advocated and volunteered for the community in Southeast Seattle since 1999.

Thanks to current board members, neighbors who completed surveys and attended zoom meetings, and to the volunteers, donors, neighbors, City & County Staff who support our work.

We will:

  • Accepting application through May - July 2026
  • Notifications emailed in August
  • Board online voting in September

Danielle Jackson, President/Founder and Temporary Treasurer

Danielle Jackson is a Seattle native whose life reflects resilience, transformation, and a deep commitment to community service. Having overcome childhood trauma, domestic violence, substance abuse, and the challenges of teenage single parenthood, she now uses her lived experience to advocate for individuals and families facing similar barriers.

Danielle holds a Data Entry Certificate from Seattle Vocational Institute and has completed additional coursework and trainings at Seattle Vocational Institute. She has also served as a foster parent to at-risk youth, providing stability and support.

With over 30 years in the nonprofit sector and 18 years with Seattle Public Schools, Danielle is dedicated to ensuring underserved communities have access to essential resources and services. Her work is grounded in her faith, compassion, advocacy, and a passion for helping others build strong, sustainable futures.
