CHAMPS RSC Board or Committee help shape the change you want to see in your neighborhood. CHAMPS RSC have successfully advocated for the community in Southeast Seattle since 1999. Thanks to current board members, neighbors who completed surveys and attended zoom meetings, and to the City & County Staff who support our work.

Danielle Jackson, Founder and Temporary Treasurer

I’m Danielle Jackson a native of Seattle, Washington. Growing up as a child and young adult I experienced and survived many traumas. Those experiences encouraged me to seek counseling and later advocate for others in my community to overcome their past and lay the foundation for their future.

 I went to SVI, Seattle Central Community College and many other short-term trainings and workshops as a young adult, worked over 30 years in the non-profit sector and 18 years with Seattle Public Schools. My faith, life experiences, training, job skills, counseling, visions and passion ignited my purpose to serve the community to ensure they have access to resources and services.
