Jhana Jackson

I am a Seattle native with Louisianan roots and a single mother to one child. I strongly believe it takes a village to raise a child and a community to strengthen families. I am a passionate advocate for my community, especially single parents, and value the power of
shared voices and lived experiences. Through my work with the Employment Security Department and DSHS, as well as participation in women’s support groups through the Salvation Army, I have gained valuable experience serving families in need.

My goal is to advance into a leadership role where I can support parents in addressing urgent needs related to employment, education, financial hardship, and access to resources. I am committed to serving my community and creating meaningful
solutions.
