CHAMPS Resource & Service Center is excited to announce the launch of our $40,000 Rainier Beach Skatepark Fundraising Campaign!

The Rainier Beach Skatepark is now complete and open to the community! This incredible milestone represents eight years of dedication, volunteer service, community engagement, and collaboration to turn a community vision into reality.

Our mission has always been to create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space where youth, students, and families can gather, connect, learn, and thrive.

The Rainier Beach Skatepark is designed to be accessible to individuals of all abilities and welcoming to everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, faith, spirituality, gender identity, sexual orientation, or age. We believe everyone deserves a place where they feel valued, respected, and connected to their community.

Why Are We Raising $40,000?

Although the skatepark is complete and open, our work is not finished.

For eight years, our dedicated Project Manager volunteered countless hours coordinating community engagement, building partnerships, advocating for resources, and helping move this project from an idea to a reality.

Our $40,000 fundraising goal is dedicated to providing financial compensation for the Project Manager's eight years of volunteer leadership and service.

We believe that recognizing and investing in community leadership is just as important as investing in community spaces. Behind every successful community project are individuals who sacrifice their time, energy, and resources to make lasting change possible.
