  • Rainier Beach Skatepark

    Spring 2025

    Thank you to everyone who participated in the Rainier Beach Playfield Skatepark design process. The project is currently working through construction documents and construction is anticipated to begin in September 2025.

    The new skatepark at Rainier Beach Playfield will be a great addition to the Rainier Beach Community Center.

  • FYBY Anti-Violence Conference

    This is an event in memory of the founders nephew and others taking from their love ones by violence. The hope is to collaborate with community leaders to raise awareness on violence prevention. It is initiated by youth for youth to facilitate violence prevention workshops, group sessions, community booths, displays and performances to enhance violence awareness and how to avoid gang affiliation.

  • Adopt-A-Family 4 Christmas & Toy Giveaway

    Many children are not fortunate to receive gifts for the holiday. Getting together as a community to collect toys for children of all ages in the community is a great opportunity to support families in need.

    We have begun construction on several walkways in the neighborhood. Residents near the construction sites received notices in late Spring and early Summer 2024.
